Things to Do

Defeating Boredom

Looking for a night out? Whether for a date or planning an evening out with friends we'll have the options here to get things started! If you are looking for people to go with, join our Discord and ask around in our Meetup Discussion channel; we provide the tools for anyone to create meetups. You can pick one, or you can chain places together to create a more comprehensive fun filled event for your friends.

We don't list restaurants or breweries because, quite frankly, they are everywhere in Rochester. Instead, we encourage you to ask in our Food channel for recommendations. This way you can add some context such as a particular atmosphere or allergens to be considerate of.

At the bottom of the page we list other group activities that are held at local breweries, check out the breweries website for the most current dates and times for their events.

Social Media

If you're looking for events and ideas, we strongly encourage you to follow local pages and businesses on Facebook. You can follow the businesses below and the pages from the Local Community. When you navigate to the events tab in Facebook you'll see what's going on.  You can also search Facebook for groups around your interests and any events the group members create will show up as well.

We also encourage that you "request to befriend" f individuals who you meet and click with either through our Discord or in real life. This way, when they mark themselves as interested in events through Facebook, you'll see it. If anything looks fun, you are encouraged to share events to the Discord as well!
